Early voting has officially begun and runs through April 3rd! Election Day is Tuesday, April 4th. See below for a link to polling locations, times and other information. Dowload a sample ballot here.
This District 15 school board election is so very important. It is our job as residents of this school district to do all we can to get out the vote for this election. Tell everyone you know that new and positive leadership is needed on our school board.
We have unfortunately learned about 10 years of poor decision making that have continually factored the hard working taxpayers of District 15 out of the equation; click here for a timeline of questionable decisions and controversies made by current school board incumbents who are seeking re-election (their names are above).
The Engage D15 candidates, including Frank Annerino, Mike Smolka, Anthony Wang, Lisa Szczupaj (all 4-year terms) and Barb Kain (2-year term), each of them vows to move District 15 in a positive direction, through engaging with the D15 community at-large, and ensuring your tax dollars are spent wisely while our students receive a top-notch education.
Lastly and equally important, trust must be restored in our school board. The decisions in 2016 alone, including the 10-year teacher contract and failed, $130 million referendum have caused our residents to have little faith that the current school board incumbents have their best interests at heart.
